1500 PEOPLE DIED IN ATLANTIC OCEAN

According to my research, in the past 111 years ago was a ship. This was a Titanic ship operated by the white star line and was the largest ship of a British passenger line. It was called the unsinkable ship or the ship of dreams since it had the largest steam engine ever built in the world.

My research found out that in the night of 10th April 1912, Titanic ship set sail from Southampton England, stopped in Cherbourg in France and Queenstown in Ireland to pick up passengers, crews and supplies. It was heading to New York city. It collided with iceberg in the North Atlantic at around 11:40 pm and started to sink taking less than 3 hrs.

About 1500 people died during that worsed tragedy, and a few survived. Among the survivors was a two months old child at the time of the tragedy who later died in 2009 at the age of 97.

As I did my research, the Titanic is approximately 370 miles off the coast of Newfoundland Canada in the North Atlantic Ocean and the only items that can be seen strewn across the ocean floor are bottles of wine, shoes and suitcases.

In my conclusion, there are movies of Titanic that have impacted the society through envision, study and reflect on the disaster over a century since it took place. Besides, the Titanic was seen as an invincible  creation of man but it's sinking serves as a humbling reminder that human achievement has it's limits. As Christians, this can encourage a deeper reliance on God rather than Human strength and wisdom. Proverbs 3:5-6, reminds us to trust in the lord with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding.
