1. Conflict and enmty; Like Nabal, you might find yourself frequently in conflicts with others due to abrasive and ungrateful behaviour which will result in a serious confrontation.

2. Loss of support; You could lose the support and goodwill for those around you. Nabal's servants and even his wife Abigail recognised his folly and acted independently to avert disaster.

3. Negative reputation;  You may develop a reputation for being difficult and foolish as Nabal did. This can lead to social isolation and lack of trust from others.

5. Potential downfall; Ultimately, Nabal's story ends with his sudden death after learning how close he came to being killed by David. This signifies that persistent negative behaviour can lead to severe consequences.

In contrast, adopting the traits of other more positive characters from the bible, such as humility, gratitude, and wisdom would likely lead to more favourable outcomes. It's my humble prayer that God may desire a positive response from us only if we escape the traits of Nabal.
