When Compassion Becomes a Calling: Lessons from Nehemiah 1:2–4
Here’s a thoughtful message on desiring God in 2025:
As we've stepped into 2025, may our hearts be drawn closer to God, the ultimate source of joy, peace, and purpose. Desiring God is not about chasing fleeting satisfaction but embracing the eternal relationship we are called to have with Him.
This year, let our longing for God shape our choices, direct our paths, and transform our lives. In every challenge, may we seek Him as our refuge. In every blessing, may we glorify Him as the giver of all good things.
Psalm 42:1 reminds us, "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God." May this be our anthem—a deep thirst for God's presence, love, and truth in every aspect of our lives.
Let 2025 be a year of growing intimacy with Him, a year where our desire for God fuels our worship, service, and love for others.
"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4).
May our greatest desire be to know Him more deeply and reflect His glory in all we do.
