WOMAN RAISED BY MONKEYS IN THE JUNGLE

WOMAN WHO WAS RAISED BY MONKEYS IN THE JUNGLE OPENS UP ABOUT HER UPBRINGING  In 1954, in a remote South America village, a four year old girl was abducted and then abandoned deep in the Colombian rainforest. She managed to survive despite spending several years alone in the jungle, alongside a troop of Capuchin Monkeys for company. Copying everything they did, including how they got food, is how she survived untill she was found at ten years old. Speaking to UNILAD, Marina told her story as she revealed what it was like growing up with the monkeys and how she learned to survive by getting fruit and food for them. She explained: "I didn't know what to eat except the water. And I noticed the monkeys used to eat things. They kept eating something and I used watching where they were getting this food which took me days to find out where they get the food from  One of the monkeys used to go to Indian people homes when fallen asleep, and enter their rooms very quietly and pick some ...

NATURE'S HEALER

"The incredible story of an orangutan using leaves to heal its wound" In the heart of Borneo's lush rainforest, an extra ordinary event unfolded that cultivated scientists and animal lovers alike. A lesson from the jungle  Orangutan carefully selected specific leaves from a nearby tree, known to be local for its medicinal properties. She meticulously chewed...

NABAL OF THE BIBLE

1 SAMWEL 25 Join me as I take you through the little bit outcome of Nabal. If you posses the traits similar to Nabal, the following might be your outcome. 1. Conflict and enmty; Like Nabal, you might find yourself frequently in conflicts with others due to abrasive and ungrateful behaviour which will result in a serious confrontation. 2. Loss of support; You could lose the support and goodwill for those around you. Nabal's servants and even his wife Abigail recognised his folly and acted independently to avert disaster. 3. Negative reputation;   You may develop a reputation for being difficult and foolish as Nabal did. This can lead to social isolation and lack of trust from others. 5. Potential downfall; Ultimately, Nabal's story ends with his sudden death after learning how close he came to being killed by David. This signifies that persistent negative behaviour can lead to severe consequences. In contrast, adopting the traits of other more positive characters from th...

CREATING A LITTLE HEAVEN

Insights from the word of God  Welcome to my humble abode, where I embark on a journey create a little heaven right here on earth, guided by the timeless wisdom found in the word of God. In this blog, I'll explore the divine principles and practices that can transform our lives and surroundings into glimpses of heaven. 1. Gratitude and contentment  Gratitude shifts our focus from what we lack to the abundance that surrounds us. In 1 Thessalonians 5:18 , we're encouraged to give thanks in all circumstances. Cultivating an attitude of gratitude allows us to find joy and contentment in every moment, regardless of our circumstances, creating an atmosphere of possibility and peace. 2. Unity in diversity  God's kingdom celebrates diversity and unity.  In Galatians 3:28, we are reminded that, there's neither Jew or Gentiles, neither slaves nor free, not is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Embracing diversity enriches our communities, fostering und...
